OUR STORY

Family-Owned Business

My husband and I love dogs and started a dog walking business. It grew into boarding dogs and we learned a lot about so many different breeds of dogs. After about 3 years in business we fell in love with mini Goldendoodles. They were the perfect pet for us. We decided to begin breeding in a home environment where they receive lots of love, attention, and affection.

ABOUT GOLDENDOODLES

Goldendoodles are a delightful mix of the gentle Golden Retriever and the clever Poodle. Their popularity skyrockets thanks to their affectionate nature and their beautiful, allergen-friendly coat. While the exact origin of the goldendoodle crossbreed is unknown, breeders began to market goldendoodles in the 1990s after the Labradoodle gained popularity.

Goldendoodles come in three sizes: standard, medium and miniature. The standard Goldendoodles are playful and make excellent companions for families, while the miniatures are perfect for apartment living. Medium Golden-doodles make for a perfect in between. Depending on their Poodle lineage, Goldendoodles can vary in size, with standard ones reaching over 21 inches tall and weighing up to 100 pounds, mediums weighing between 30 - 50 pounds and miniatures staying below 30 pounds. At this time we only breed mini Goldendoodles.

Hypoallergenic Doggies

One of the Goldendoodle's biggest draws is its hypoallergenic coat. As descendants of a purebred Poodle parents, known for their allergy-friendly traits, Goldendoodles shed minimally, making them a great choice for allergy-prone individuals. For those who prefer large, non-shedding dogs, consider the F1B Goldendoodle, which is 75% Standard Poodle and 25% Golden Retriever, boasting a curlier coat. For those who have severe allergies, a F1BB would be a great fit. An F1BB Goldendoodle results from breeding an F1B Goldendoodle with a Poodle, making them 12.5% Golden Retriever and 87.5% Poodle. This generation is highly sought after for being mostly non-shedding, making it an ideal choice for families with severe allergies. The careful selection of parents also ensures the puppies have the beloved teddy bear look.
